A podcast of one is pretty lonely!

If you are the Admin for your podcast, there are two types of invites you can send for others to join you:

1. Podcast Subscribers: These are people who are invited to LISTEN to the podcast, but aren’t being asked to record an episode yet. They’ll get an email from us with their private podcast feed link and instructions for adding the podcast to their favorite podcast app. They’ll also get emails when new episodes go live.

   To invite Podcast Subscribers, just send the list of email addresses (preferably in a .csv file) to [email protected] or whoever your Real Human contact is. (We’re building the interface for this very soon!)

2. Podcast Guests: These are people who are being asked to record an episode. (They also get access to listen via a private podcast link.) To invite Podcast Guests:

   1. Login to realhuman.io
   2. Click “Invite people” on your homepage or the Manage Podcast page. (And if you’re not the Admin, reach out to [email protected] and we can help you.)

When you click “Invite people,” you’ll be taken to this screen:

Once you’re on the invite screen:

• Enter the email addresses of the people you want to try The Real Human Project with
• You can add as many as you’d like, with just a space between them
• You don’t have to invite everyone at once—you can always come back to this page later to add more

Once you press the “Send invites” button, the people whose email addresses you entered will receive an email from The Real Human Project saying “[Your Group Name] has invited you to participate in The Real Human Project.” The email gives them some basic info, and a button they can click to register their account.

As soon as they’ve signed up, they can record their own interview. They will also get access to the private URL so they can download your private podcast and start listening to any available episodes.
